The reason it could be doing this is because the Kindle is trying to find something to open after it is done saying "Kindle Fire". However, unplugging the USBs did nothing.
I then figured I needed to roll back the drivers, but this wasn't easy when I had no monitor to work with. Windows Insiders - dedicated to Windows Insider program, WI builds troubleshooting. And then the computer updated while I made those changes. Good luck.
