There's no particular harm done by letting the patch install. Still getting feedback from various users on this. The bigger problem is that a number of users can’t find the patch in the installed Windows Update list, so it’s practically impossible to remove the previous version. I note that in the Installed Updates window the installation date shown is the first time the KB is installed and does not change even if overwritten.
